Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?
Yes! The beautiful Whippoorwill Hill will host both of our events. It provides outdoor areas for warm weather, and it also has one of the most beautiful wedding barn areas in case of rain.
Is there a cocktail hour?
YES!!! For the cocktail hour, please enjoy complimentary drinks for everyone. Once the dinner starts, it will be a cash bar. (great prices)
Where is Whippoorwill Hill in relation to other places if we are looking for a place to stay?
It will seem very remote as you make your way to the wedding, but it is very close to cities/landmarks and only 18 minutes south of Bloomington.
Indiana University - 7.3 miles (18 minutes)
Lake Monroe-southern end- 9.2 miles (19 minutes)
Columbus- 56 miles (40 minutes)
Indianapolis - 60 miles (1 hr 3 minutes)
Fishers- 80 miles (1 hr 19 minutes)
